Dano (Daniel) Peter Kowalewich passed away at the age of 54 years.
Dano is survived by his sister Pat (John) Vielgut; sisters- in-law Lynda Kowalewich of Canmore and Darcy Hickey of Banff as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Dano was predeceased by his father Steve and mother Kay and brothers Bob and Tom.
After receiving his education in Flin Flon and Winnipeg, Dano came to Canmore as a teenager working various jobs in the tourist industry, bartending, landscaping and predominantly as a carpenter.
Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday April 16, 2016 in Our Lady of the Rockies Catholic Church, 810 - 7 Street in Canmore.
A gathering of friends and family followed at the Drake Inn .
All were invited to come and share stories of Danny.
