Colleen moved west in the early 80's to work at Storm Mountain Lodge and started the Banff Bakery in 1985. Colleen and Dale were married in 1987 and her son Daniel was born in 1989. In 1991 they opened The Viewpoint Book and Card store in Banff which they still operate today.
Colleen cherished the memories of her early life in Ontario, especially the family lakeside cottage and her high school years in Mt. Forest, ON. She forged friendships that are still strong. Out west, she loved being outdoors in the mountains. She had a deep love for Danny and took joy and pride in all his endeavours.
Colleen dealt bravely with a chronic pain condition for the last
17 years but did whatever she could to share in both good
and difficult times.
She will be missed by all who knew her and will be remembered
as a beautiful and kind person.
