Christian Lord passed away from cancer on October 29, 2014 at the age of 39 years. He was originally from Quebec but moved out west
in 1994 where he met his wife Jessica Girard in Lake Louise in 2005. They had two children, Jacob age 6 and Mia age 4. The family recently moved back to Canmore in June from Calgary to realize their dream of being back in the mountains to raise their children.
Christian was diagnosed with terminal cancer July 26, 2014. It was short, but Christian was able to enjoy the view of Three Sisters mountains from his window at the Canmore Hospital the last two weeks of his life.
Christian will be remembered forever for his love for life, happiness, generosity and loyalty. The family would like to thank the Canmore Hospital team of doctors and nurses and Canmore Home Care team for the help and support given to our family.
A Celebration of Life service was held in Lake Louise on Saturday,
Nov. 15, 2014 at the Lake Louise ski hill ( at the Sitzmark)
