Chris Mccorrister

Christopher Donavon McCorrister, age 39, passed away Saturday,

May 11, 2019 after a hard and sudden battle against brain cancer.

Chris always lived his life to the fullest. He loved God, family,

adventure, the outdoors, and living a life that wasn't the norm.

Chris married his best friend Kandace at 26 and the two of them

did everything together. He loved her deeply everyday of his life.

Although Chris was born and raised in the prairies, his heart was in the mountains and it didn't take long for him to move his family to Canmore. Chris was a brilliant software engineer, visionary, and business man.

He was passionate about his work and loved that his office could be anywhere (even if it was at Starbucks most times).

Above all else, Chris was proud of his boys Maddox (11) and

Koen (8). You couldn't run into Chris without hearing about their latest adventure snowboarding or biking. His boys are his legacy

and their love for life and adventure will always reflect Chris.

Chris will be remembered forever by his wife Kandace; sons Maddox and Koen; parents Blair and Rita; sisters Heather and Laura and their families, Kandace's parents Mark and Rhonda as well as many other family and friends.

The family hosted a memorial service Saturday, May 25 at the Canmore Nordic Centre, BILL WARREN TRAINING CENTER.
