Cheryl Ann Wilson (nee Andreen) passed away peacefully
January 13, 2014 at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary.
Cheryl was born in Saskatoon on December 3, 1958 to Jack and Christina Andreen. She was raised and went to school in Saskatoon, where she met her husband Dave. Cheryl and Dave moved to Banff in 1988 and then to Canmore in 1992, where they raised their children Amy and Johnathan.
Cheryl's career was focused around customer service, because of her great ability to work with the public. Cheryl was also very involved in her children's many activities. She loved the outdoors, either walking with Dave and Emma, or fishing. She also loved to scrapbook with her sisters, Deb and Barb.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of thirty years, Dave and their daughter Amy (John) Honaizer; her mother Christina Andreen; brothers and sisters; Dave and Dawn Andreen, Doug and Beryl Andreen, Deb and Lee Guldiman, Dale and Wanda Andreen, Barb and Greg Genoway, Jim and Anita Andreen, and Brian Andreen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephew, great nieces and nephews. Also survived by her special mother-in-law, Sophie Wilson. Cheryl was predeceased by her son, Johnathan, her father Jack Andreen and father-in-law Andy Wilson.
Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, January 21, 2014
in Our Lady of the Rockies Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Canmore.
There was also a memorial service on Friday, January 24, 2014
in St. Phillips Neri Catholic Church in Saskatoon
