On November 20, 2013, the world became a quieter place
with the passing of Charlie Pacas.
Though he was born in Ontario, Charlie lived most of his life in western Canada where he explored, learned, and worked in the provincial and national parks. To say that Charlie really lived life would be an understatement. He was a lover of nature, a committed volunteer, an aficionado of bad puns, and while he loved skiing on beautiful winter days, riding his motorcycle in the Rockies made him infinitely happy.
Charlie was one of those rare individuals who truly had a twinkle
in his eye; he loved fully and is loved by many.
To celebrate Charlie, a party was held Friday, December 6, 2013
at the Iron Goat Restaurant in Canmore.
