Born in Banff to John & Ireen Strauss, Brian died peacefully
in Calgary. Brian was raised & educated in Canmore;
and he lived "Down Prospect".
Brian leaves behind his sister Marie (Dick) Leong; nieces, Sheila Leong & Sheryl Leong (Tyler Reid) & nephew Richard Leong and their families;
his brother Jim Strauss, nephew Kevin Strauss, niece Jackie Strauss (Dan Saint) and their families; Brian also leaves behind his sister-in-law Vera Strauss (his brother Garry Strauss predeceased him in 2019), niece Ireene (Graham) Bailey & family, and nephew Travis Strauss.
As Brian's health was declining, he moved into the Bow View Manor in Calgary in 2017. He had a good word for everyone, and was always joking with the residents & staff.
The Strauss/Leong family would like to say Thank You to all the Staff for the excellent care Brian received while he was at the Bow View Manor in Calgary.
Private Funeral Service will be determined at a later date.
