Robert Malcolm Campbell, "Bobby", "BC", longtime resident of Canmore, passed away at his home in Canmore on May 1, 2014.
Born September 7, 1950 in Montreal, Qc., he is the son of Bernice Perron ( Bertrand ) of Montreal and the late Adam Campbell.
Bob was known to many people in Canmore for many things. He worked in the construction industry for a variety of companies and was both a valued and dedicated employee. When he put his mind to a project, it was never left unfinished. To many others he was the "Accounting Guru" having made tax time less stressful for numerous friends and acquaintances
Bob had an engaging conversation style which endeared him to many, for you always knew he was listening to your views. He loved a great debate on any subject political and he stood his ground quietly, yet firmly. He was an avid spots fan and analyst. His heart was with "his" teams; the Montreal Alouettes and the Montreal Canadians.
BC was a man of honor. He was a happy and humble person who has left his mark on many different people in Canmore and will be missed by his many friends.
Friends joined together to remember Bobby on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Three Sisters Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion in Canmore.
