Blue Falconer

d. July 27, 2016

Blue went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus, on July 27, 2016. Though circumstances dictated that only a few could be at his side, he was surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

Blue is survived by: the love of his life, Debbie (Wood) Falconer; his four beautiful children, Ocean, Meadow, Forest and Willow; his loving parents, Wallace and Pat Falconer and his brothers, Dale (Debbie Raiwet) and Dustin (Nancy). He will be greatly missed by Debbie's family: her parents, Elon and Ginger Wood, her brother Todd Wood (Kristy), and sister, Susie Lacy (Joe). He will also be fondly remembered by the aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who understood that everything was just that much more fun, lively and energizing when he was around.

Blue has been described more than once as larger than life and reflection upon the full and varied journey that he lived out would support this. Blue was the architect and fearless rider of the Prospector mountain biking trail, the volunteer (Exshaw Fire Department) turned professional (Calgary Fire Department) firefighter, visionary of the Old School Ice Cream Bus, rafting guide, youth group leader (Blue cared very much for the spiritual life of the young people in his community), inventor and barista (he made a mean latte) and much much more.

He loved his family with all his heart, his Lord with all his soul and the gift of life with all his might.
