Bertha M. Clark

A life-time Canmore resident, Bertha (Bert) Clark, passed away peacefully at the Canmore Hospital on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the age of 86 years. Bert was born and raised in Canmore and will be remembered for her Swiss heritage, her volunteer work at the senior's drop-in center and her many years of managing the

Adams Electric store in Banff.

Bert will be greatly missed by her family. She was predeceased by her husband Matt, in 1994, her brother, Robert and his wife Josephine, in 2012, her brother John's wife, Marie, in 2009 and her brother Eric's wife, Mary, in 1994. Bert is survived by her brothers, Eric (Dorothy) Meili and his children, Judy (Rick) Hanson, Blaine (Helen) Meili and Wayne (Debbie) Meili; her brother John Meili and his children Dale Meili, Dianne (Rick) Moyse and Debbie (Bob) MacDuff and her brother Robert's children, Val (Neville) Townsend and Ed (Christine) Meili. She will also be sadly missed by her husband, Matt's family, his sister Nancy (Ray) McKay and their children Clark McKay and Nolan (Anne) McKay and his sister, Donna Clark. She was predeceased by Matt's brother, Ritchie, in 2009, his sister, Maisie, in 1983 and Maisie's husband, Lloyd, in 1996, but is survived by their children Jim (Wanda) Ready, Bob ( Lyla) Ready, Darla (Dave) Anderson and Susan (Kevin) Stewart. She will also be missed by several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

while she was a patient there.

At Bert's request, a private family service was held.
