It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our
good friend and beloved Auntie Berta in her home in her
much loved Canmore.
Berta had very fond memories of her early years in Germany surrounded by her large extended family. She came to Canada in the 1950's to join the love of her life and future husband Mike. Together they worked hard to build a happy home.
Berta enjoyed numerous hobbies, painting scenery of the Canmore area being her favourite.
Berta passed away after a lengthy illness. Thank you to all the Canmore Homecare team and to all the doctors, nurses and staff of the Canmore Hospital for their devoted care. Friends wishing to remember Berta are encouraged to make a donation, in her memory, to the Canmore and Area Heath Care Foundation, 1100 Hospital Place, Canmore T1W 1N2 for use in the Canmore Hospital.
At Berta's request, cremation has taken place and no funeral
service will be held
