Anne Going

Anne Going; beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and friend to so many, passed away at the Golden Eagle View Long Term Care, Canmore, AB., at the age of 94. Anne will be remembered for her strength, her wisdom, and her kindness, among countless other things.

Anne was married to the late Gerry Going for over sixty years and together they raised six children in the heart of Alberta who have all gone on to be successful entrepreneurs and raise families of their own. Anne believed that family was the most important thing; her home was always the beacon that brought family and friends together.

Anne was one of the funniest ladies you would ever meet; her quick wit made her so many friends over the years. Not only was she funny, she was smart and caring and gave the best advice. She loved music and cooking and the color green and gardening and sports and animals and reading and travel.

Anne lived a life to be proud of and she will be deeply missed but always admired, remembered and thought of ever so fondly.
