Ambrose Chodan

d. July 7, 2023

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Ambrose Chodan of Banff passed away with his loving wife Sherry by his side.

A passion for vintage motorcycles and cars brought him immense pleasure as did the time he spent with his wife, horses and cats.

Ambrose had a kind heart and a generous and trusting nature that he extended to family, friends, employees, acquaintances and numerous community and charitable events. He touched the lives of many during his shortened time on this planet and will be fondly remembered by those he was nearest to, and the multitudes he met over the decades as the owner / operator of The Voyageur Inn in Banff and the Spruce Grove Inn.

A Memorial Celebration of Ambrose Life was held Friday, July 7, 2023 in the Rundle United Church in Banff. Reception followed where friends were wwelcomed to share memories of Ambrose. At his request, jeans and casual shirt was the dress code for the day.

Rest In Peace, Ambrose
