After the war, he found his calling as a Parks Ranger, where he devoted himself to protecting and preserving the stunning landscapes of Banff National Park. His passion for nature and outdoor life was a guiding force throughout his career, allowing him to share his love of the environment with countless visitors.
Residing in Banff and Canmore alongside his beloved wife, Rosina Zach, Adolf engaged in a multitude of outdoor activities that showcased his adventurous spirit. The couple enjoyed skiing, biking, hiking, and camping together, creating lasting memories against the magnificent backdrop of the Rockies. Adolf's dedication to skiing was especially remarkable; he continued to hit the slopes well into his 80s, a testament to his enduring love for the sport and the mountains.
Adolf is lovingly remembered by his surviving family members, including his nephew Peter and his cherished nieces Carole, Yohanna, and Elisabeth. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosina, who passed away on July 6, 2021, after 73 years of marriage filled with love and companionship.
